Zeena K Holzhei

Zeena K Holzhei, formerly known as Zeena Roy, passed away on April 6, 2024, in Terrell, TX. She was born on May 17, 1953, in Lahore, Pakistan. Zeena led a rich and fulfilling life that touched the hearts of many.

In her professional career, Zeena served at an embassy overseas and also dedicated her time as a substitute teacher in Rockwall, TX. Her passion for education and cultural exchange left a lasting impact on those around her.

Those who knew Zeena will fondly remember the memories they shared with her. From making tea the Indian way with cookies to learning how to parallel park with the help of her friend Erika, Zeena's life was filled with cherished moments. She had a desire to explore the world and spent time in Australia with other friends, always dreaming of returning one day.

Zeena was known for her feisty spirit and deep care for her loved ones. She held a special place in her heart for her church family at First Presbyterian Church of Rockwall, where she actively contributed to the community.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Zeena found joy in cooking and preparing marvelous dishes, especially during Thanksgiving dinners. Her culinary skills brought people together and created lasting memories.

Zeena is survived by her brothers Kennith Roy and Shahid Roy and their families. In this time of grief, may they find solace in the memories shared with Zeena and the impact she had on all who knew her.

Zeena K Holzhei will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Her legacy of love, kindness, and adventurous spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace.
