Stephanie Deann Garoutte

Stephanie DeAnn (Jones) Garoutte, a life-long resident of Terrell, Texas passed away peacefully on September 20, 2021.

Stephanie is survived by her parents, Ben D. Jones and Charlene Jones; loving husband, Jim Garoutte; sister, Kimberly Holick and husband Joey; brother, Cory Jones and wife Jennifer; her children, Adam Erwin and fiancé Isaac Carvajal, Peyton Jacobs and husband Billy, Ashlyn Gooden, Jaron Garoutte and wife Victoria; grandchildren, Ailee Erwin, Harper Gooden, Ellisyn Gooden, Anabelle Garoutte, Lucy Garoutte and another blessing on the way.

Stephanie was born on May 11, 1971 in Terrell, Texas where she attended grade school
and was a 1989 Terrell High School graduate.
Stephanie was a devoted wife, mother, and daughter, as well as a delighted and adoring
Gigi that loved her entire family unconditionally. She loved to sing, whether it was in the car,
shower, or some good ‘ol Karaoke, and above all else, in Church. Most of you probably aren’t aware, but she was an aspiring author and had completed a few chapters of her very own book. She loved to travel as often as possible, and every year she, her sister, and their cousins would team up and travel to celebrate their birthdays. Stephanie was a committed and passionate worker, and very much enjoyed her most recent job at Pathway Healthcare where she held the title of Quality Control Manager for the last 5 years. She loved to help others and found immense joy in doing so. When she was away from work you would most likely find her relaxing and watching her favorite shows, one of which being F.R.I.E.N.D.S., and she could quote you almost every line from every episode ever created. She was a true fan of the show and cast and would laugh regardless of how many times she had seen an episode. You might also have even found her out on a shopping spree, where she took all day shopping trips where at times, she may have come home with nothing found, and at other times she was loaded down with all kinds of goodies. Stephanie loved The Lord and loved to be encouraged by the Word of God. She will be immensely missed by all family, friends and everyone who was blessed to know her.
A visitation is scheduled for 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Life Pointe Church
located at 1600 Griffith Ave. Terrell, Texas immediately followed by the funeral service starting at 4:00 pm.
