Martin Martinez Jr

Martin Martinez Jr., age 46 of Mesquite, Texas went on to his reward on July 21, 2022. Martin was born on December 1, 1975 in Dallas, Texas. He was a 1994 graduate of West Mesquite High School.

Martin was the most loving and giving person, he loved people and it was hard not to love him back. He always had a big smile on his face or was laughing about something. He loved to get autographs from sports events to book signings to musicians and even his body building expos he enjoyed going to. He was an avid Texas Longhorns fan along with Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed going to watch the Dallas Mavericks play. Martin was always ready to go to any car shows, bike shows and body building expos he could get into.  He loved going to concerts and you can bet he was going to get an autograph and probably a t-shirt wherever he went. He loved spending time with his family. Although never having kids of his own he took on the role to all his nieces and nephews. All the kids loved him, and he loved them all so much. Martin was a hard worker and worked for over 11 years for ReportPrep. where he grew to love his work family very much. He also worked for the City of Dallas for 4 plus years as a Code Enforcement Officer ll with the southeast district where they all became family to him.

Martin is preceded in death by his mother whom he adored very much Francis C. Martinez and his brother and best friend Gabriel Alaniz Jr.

Those left with cherished memories are his sisters: Martha E. Mena, Blanca E. Tijerina and husband Armando, Juanita R. Bryant and husband James, Melissa Martinez and husband Fidencio Quiroz along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and everyone else whom he considered his very close family and lastly his fur baby Jimmy. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
