Marcia Kay Clankie

Marcia Kay Clankie, 79, of Forney, TX passed away on February 16, 2025, at home. Marcia was born on September 24, 1945, to William and Clara Manes in Little Rock, AR. Marcia moved to California when she was young and went to school there. She worked as a social worker for many years before joining the Air Force. Marcia served in the Air Force for about 4 years on active duty and then again about 4 years as a reservist. During her time in the military, she met Albert Clankie and they would get married on April 24, 1980. The two of them spent a loving 44 years together. Marcia enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading books, decorating her house, and taking care of her plants that she used to decorate. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Clara. Those left to cherish her memory are husband Albert, children: Shane, Nicole and Michelle; several grandchildren; siblings Bill and Lucia, and numerous extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
