Linda Louise Dryk, born on May 6, 1936, in Wills Point, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2024, in Mesquite, Texas.
Throughout her life, Linda dedicated many years to a career in administrative work. She cherished her hobbies, finding joy in reading, solving crossword puzzles, and savoring her morning coffee. These simple pleasures were reflective of her thoughtful and astute nature.
Linda is survived by her loving family, including her sister, Sue Brown of Plano, Texas; her brother, Johnny Lamb of Forney, Texas; her son, Randall Dryk of Mesquite, Texas; and her daughter, Lori Everett and husband Ron of Anna, Texas. She took great pride in her grandchildren, Tiffany Newall of Mesquite; Tonya Castillo and husband Hector of Mesquite; and Katie Sullivan and husband Shaun of McKinney, Texas. Linda was also the proud great-grandmother of Desiree Newell of Mesquite, Kyndal Dryk of Mesquite, Darrian Newell and wife Juliana of Dallas, Texas, Hector Castillo Jr. and wife Trinity Garcia of Dallas, Destiny Newell of Mesquite, Cristiano Castillo of Mesquite, Cason Sullivan of McKinney, and Finn Sullivan of McKinney. Additionally, she had the joy of being a great-great-grandmother to Sophia Smith of Mesquite.
Linda is preceded in death by her DAD, Walter R. Lamb; her Mother, Mary L. Lamb; her sister, Bretty Stroud; and her husband, Ralph Dryk. She is also preceded in death by her great-grandson, Aiden Sullivan.
Linda Dryk, also known to many as Memaw. Our biggest supported in all aspects of life. We will carry on all traits you have passed down to all of us. We love you and miss you.
