David Richardson Sr.

David Richardson, age 78 passed away on July 13, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones, peacefully in his home. He resided in Kaufman, TX since 2003. David was born on September 8, 1943, in McAllen, Texas.

David proudly served in the United States Navy, where he retired after 20 years of dedication and hard work. He was a hard worker and continued to provide for his family by driving a truck for a living for 24 years. Once David retired, he began to enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved fishing and working in the yard.

David is preceded in death by his mother Juanita Richardson; mother-in-law Mercedes Rocha and grandson Patrick Richardson.

Those left with cherished memories are his loving wife of 57yrs Nellie Rocha Richardson; children: David Richardson Jr. and wife Anastasia of Tularosa, NM, James Richardson and wife Merida of Houston, TX, Ronald Richardson and wife Tina of The Colony, TX, JoAnn Ford and husband Mike of Kaufman, TX, Donald Richardson and wife Holly of Little Elm, TX and Adelina Richardson and Ignacio Guerrero of Tucson, AZ; brother Henry Richardson and wife Maria of Kansas City, KS; 23 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and a host of other beloved family and friends who will dearly miss him.
