Joe Allen McCollom

Joe Allen McCollom was born on February 13, 1938, in Victoria, Texas, and passed away on January 19, 2022 in Rockwall, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Glen A. and Ida Mae McCollom and wife of 42 years Billie McCollom.

Survivors include wife Marcine McCollom, sons, Scott (Dotty) McCollom, Russell (Susan) McCollom, grandsons, Blake, Ross, Jack, Stephen, and great grandchildren Kasey, Autumn, Xavier, Brock.

Joe worked as a clothing salesman for Dad & Lads for many years, and later at Dillard's Dept. Store, where he retired. He had a love for working in the yard and having a manicured flower bed. On hot days, you would often see him wiping off the top of his beer can with a paper towel before opening it. He also loved golf and played a lot after retirement. He will be missed but we know he is home with the Lord now.
