Jerry Kendrick

Jerry Lee Kendrick, age 91, of Terrell, Texas passed away on March 4, 2023. Jerry was born on January 8, 1932 in Brady, Texas to parents Herbert and Gladys (Bundick) Kendrick.

Jerry and his siblings grew up in the end of the depression and learned to overcome the obstacles that come along with living in poverty. Jerry and his family always seemed to make ends meet and lived a happy life. He worked hard for everything he had. Jerry was a handy man and could fix anything he got his hands on. He retired from Southwestern Bell as an Instructor after many years.  Later in life he enjoyed fishing at the lake, Lake Bardwell in Ennis to be exact. They watched that lake fill from the bottom up when it was first made. Jerry loved to work in his garden every year. Jerry served his country by enlisting in the United States Army where he proudly served for many years.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 30 years Peggy Joyce Kendrick; son Jeffery Lyn Kendrick; three brothers: Thomas, Billy and Herbert.

Jerry is survived by his daughter Pamela Kendrick of Houston, Texas; brother Joe Kendrick and sister Bonnie Osborn.
