Frankie James Blackwell

Frankie James Blackwell Jr., age 49, passed away on June 17, 2022. Frankie was born on January 23, 1973 to parents Frank and Judy (Stovall) Blackwell in Dallas, Texas.

Frankie loved the outdoors and spent most of his time hunting, fishing, or working in the yard. He enjoyed mowing the grass and was a hard worker. Frankie loved spending time with his family and was thankful for them. Frankie was a kind man and would give the shirt off his back to help out the next person and had a heart of gold. Frankie was baptized in 2018, one of the happiest days of his life.

Frankie is preceded in death by his parents; uncles: Jessie Laminack, Bobbie Stovall, Joel Stovall, Ernest Stovall and Lonnie Stovall; 2 aunts, Pauline Swindell and Sandra Stovall and cousin Perry Stegal.

Those left with cherished memories are his wife Tonya Blackwell and their son Dennis Blackwell; daughter Tessa Blackwell; brother Ronnie Blackwell and wife Crystal; aunts: Charlene Laminack “Granny”, Margaret Meaders, Modrey Luman and Jerrie Wilbanks “Aunt Honey”; uncle Vernon Stovall and a host of other beloved family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Frankie will have a graveside service on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Myrtle Springs Cemetery in Wills Point, TX at 2:00 pm  where he will be peacefully laid to rest.
