Doris Jean Clark

Doris Jean Clark, age 90, of Combine, TX passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside Services will be held at 3:00PM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens on Saturday, March 12, 2022.

Doris was born on September 15, 1931, in Dallas, TX to Elvin Collender and Thelma Holder Tunnell. She enjoyed sitting and painting, doing string art and she loved working on puzzles. Most of all she loved being a wife, mother and grandmother as her family was very near and dear to her heart.  

She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Ann Clark Hitt of Crandall, TX, sons; Randall Jay Clark of Combine, TX, James Elvin Clark of Combine, TX, grandchildren; Windy Nicole Clark Epperson of Combine, TX, Amanda-Leigh Elizabeth Clark of Seagoville, TX, Misty-Anne La’Shawn Hitt of Crandall, TX, Michael Glenn Hitt of Crandall, TX and Stefany Maries Clark of Garland, TX, great grandchildren; Jodie Lee Epperson of Combine, TX and Kodie Nicole Epperson of Combine, TX, with numerous other beloved family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband Clifton Taft Clark, Jr., parents Elvin Collender Tunnell and Thelma Holder Tunnell and Grandmother Winnie Ouida Holder.
